Goteti Ramachandra Rao (77) who worked as a personal secretary and OSD of the former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao passed away today.
TDP chief and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu upon hearing the news paid last respects to Ramachandra Rao and expressed his condolences to the family members.
Ever Since NTR took oath as the Chief Minister, Goteti Ramachandra Rao had been with him as a special officer. At the time NTR founded Telugu Desam Party and campaigned all over the state, Ramachandra Rao used to prepare speeches to NTR during his statewide campaign.
Well-versed in Telugu and English literature, Rao was born in Narsapuram in West Godavari district in 1944.
He was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad for age-related ailments and breathed on Wednesday while undergoing treatment. Goteti is survived by wife and a son.
